Litigation Consulting Principals for Chicago, Dallas, Houston and New York

 

The Firm

The Firm has offices in major cities around the country, and is one of the sixteen largest accounting firms in the United States.  The Firm provides audit and tax services to both public and private companies.  Additionally, the Firm provides specialized consulting services in internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, investigations, litigation consulting and valuation. 

 

The Investigations and Litigation Consulting Services group (ILCS) has over one hundred professionals across the country.  ILCS services include:

Ø      Fraud and Forensic Investigations

Ø      Damages and Lost Profits Analysis

Ø      Expert Witness Services

Ø      Intellectual Property Dispute Services

Ø      Special Investigations Relating to Securities Litigation

Ø      Business Interruption Claims Services

Ø      Financial Restatement Investigations

Ø      Electronic Discovery and Digital Forensic Services

 

ILCS has established an excellent reputation, and most of the work is in large, complex projects and in cases involving top-tier entities.  ILCS attracts top-tier people, and has a collegial environment

 

The Position

The Firm has experienced rapid growth in recent years as corporations seek high quality litigation consulting and investigative services from firms other than the firm that conducts the external audit.  The Firm seeks Principal-level individuals to continue to expand the ILCS practice in Chicago, Dallas, Houston and New York.

 

The Ideal Candidate

Ø      Is a CPA with ten or more years of litigation consulting, investigative or forensic accounting experience

Ø      May also have the Certified Fraud Examiner or Certified Forensic Accountant designations

Ø      Has testified at trial

Ø      Has developed damage models and written expert reports

Ø      Has previous experience with a “Big Four” or similar firm

Ø      Has management and supervisory experience

Ø      Is able to demonstrate a history of client satisfaction and strong relationship-building skills

Ø      Has the ability to leverage existing contacts and to develop new ones in order to expand the ILCS practice

Ø      Is able to attract, motivate and retain ILCS professionals

Ø      Has a B.S. degree (or higher) in Accounting or Business (or equivalent)

 

Experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:

Ø      Complex commercial litigation

Ø      Intellectual property disputes

Ø      Investigations

Ø      Public accounting/auditing
